Once you have the firmware files (free to download) and the scatter TXT file for your specific radio, all in the same directory, proceed as follows:
Installing a new ROM to your radio can be a tricky process, whereas the most complicated issue is to have the drivers installed properly. You need a PC running Windows XP, 7, 8 or 10.
1 – Download the latest SPFlashTool executable from SPFlashTool.com
3 – To install the drivers, just run the respective installer for XP/7/8. For Windows 10, you need to follow all these steps, one by one, to be able to install the Windows 10 drivers.
4 – Run the SPFlashTool.
5 – The Download-Agent should be as in the picture above – select the file MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin
The Inrico TM-7, branded BN500 by Broadnet, looks great in the car. Its small dimensions allow an easy and stylish installation.
The BN500 version is locked to Broadnet, which means you can not install apps like Zello or TeamSpeak to use with the IRN.
So the best option, really, is to buy the original Inrico TM-7 sold by network-radios.com, with pure Android, so you can install any app from the Play Store.
You can watch some other videos of the Inrico TM-7 below.

Here are two good videos that show the unboxing and the review of the Inrico T298s. The Inrico T298s is a network radio with an embedded UHF FM transceiver that allows 100% coverage. Either by cell or radio, you will always be connected.
In this video, I show how to program each of the keys of the Inrico TM-7 mobile transceiver. You just need to use a special app that will map the keys with the functions you want.
Echolink operation is possible with the Inrico TM-7. But until the developers of Echolink add the possibility to map the PTT button of the radio to key transmission, you need to tap the touchscreen once to start transmitting, and tap again to stop. From a usability perspective, it works fine. We are just not used with the technique. Anyway, we are hams! We always like improvising!
You can always send an e-mail to Echolink and request such functionality!
Note: To install Echolink on your TM-7, you will need to install an app called “Set Orientation”. You need to have it set to “Reverse landscape”. You will understand why! 🙂
All our network radios work with GSM operators. In the USA, they will only work with AT&T (3G and 4G) and T-Mobile (3G). Note that AT&T will buy any contract you may have with other operators, so you can easily change carrier. The radios will also work accessing any WiFi hotspot.
